BALTOBLOC-D
With its range of high power or lightweight constant potential X-ray generators, BALTEAU NDT SA became a specialist in designing radiographic and radioscopic (RTR) systems. Balteau NDT is introducing the new range of BALTOBLOC-D, especially designed for inspection of welding samples and certification of welders requiring a real time option through digital imaging. This equipment succeeds the very well-known BALTOBLOC still in use in many places. The Baltobloc-D has already been chosen by either schools or training centres. This is the perfect solution for real time inspection of samples which have to be placed into a shielded cabinet. This range includes different type of models depending of the X-ray generator chosen. The Baltobloc-D XS2D features our best equipment and know-how in order to provide convenience and efficiency to the operator. The following elements are the essential parts of this system: • The shielded cabinet insures a maximum security to the operator. • The high visibility of the warning lights located at a specific height informs all the people around of the processing status. • The 3 axes manipulator, driven by joysticks, allows a complete and efficient inspection of the samples. • The powerful XSD X-ray generator gives the operator the possibility to penetrate different type of materials and large ranges of thicknesses. • The X-ray tubehead which can be chosen according to your needs and type of applications • The famous LS1 control unit providing all controls and comfort options to help the user and the production in getting the best of the inspection. • The solid state detector insuring high quality digital imaging. • The PC featuring an Image Processing System developed specifically by Balteau NDT to capture, read and interpret images as well as store and perform reporting. • The high definition black & white screen (optional) in order to maximize the general quality of the image.
